NOSTURI
Nosturi, a live music venue with a character as versatile as that of its visitors, sits by the seaside near downtown Helsinki. The old warehouse is operated by the Live Music Association (ELMU ry, whose offices can be found within, along with a fully licensed restaurant and rehearsal spaces for forty bands. Nosturi takes pride in providing a platform for a broad spectrum of culturally relevant events, including – but not limited to – concerts, raves, youth discos, performing arts, theatre, and art gallery functions. Everything from unknown underground bands to the largest mainstream acts have graced the stage of Nosturi at one time or another.
Space is Hardly an Issue
Nosturi operates on two floors, which means that the maximum audience capacity is nothing short of 900 people. The venue hosts three bars, one on the main floor and two upstairs. One end of the space houses the sizeable stage, which can be observed and adored from both floors. The use of the coatroom, situated in the open entrance hall of the building, is included in the hire cost.
The ground floor is also home to the restaurant, going by the name of Ravintola Alakerta, which serves as an excellent venue for smaller events. Alakerta can cater to 120 guests, and works ideally for parties of about 70 seated guests.What is more, the outdoor summer terrace at the waterfront can comfortably seat well over fifty people in the sunshine.

If your perfect event requires furnishings, fittings, program or event production, audiovisual technology, special effects or print services, we can gladly point you in the direction of our trusted and experienced partner network. Events and production management professionals can also organize, create and orchestrate your ideal event from scratch if you wish.
Sight and Sound
At Nosturi, the customized audiovisual technology and motorized suspension equipment is in the hands of professionals. Nosturi Lights ltd. know their business and will create and execute the event’s technical side, with anything ranging from romantic low-lights to brilliantly-lit cabaret. The capacity to transform a day seminar to festive evening event is all part of Nosturi’s charm. The technical staff will naturally be present at the event to oversee its success. Everything is done in accordance with the client’s wishes.
At Your Service
Ravintola Alakerta, Nosturi’s resident restaurant is in charge of all catering, covering both food and drink. Catering solutions are created to complement the nature and budget of the event; anything from a light buffet lunch to a seven course themed feast is easily accomplished. Responsible for the service is the pleasant and experienced restaurant staff. Alakerta is fully licensed.
